About Vikki
I am a psychologist in private practice and provide counselling and therapy to individual young people and adults. I have over 30 years experience working in a wide variety of human services roles including youth work, policy, management, clinical work, research, training and teaching.
I have a commitment to learning and sharing knowledge, and provide individual and group supervision, and offer secondary consultation to other clinicians.
Qualifications and Memberships
My psychology training provided solid grounding in the purposeful application of psychology to a number of environments (individual and organisational work for example).
I am registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (and two of their special interest groups – Psychoanalytically Oriented Psychology, and Diverse Bodies, Genders & Sexualities).
In addition to my psychology training, I have completed a Graduate Diploma in Women’s Health and a Master of Public Health, both at the University of Melbourne.
I am committed to ongoing professional supervision and training, and maintain membership of a number of professional bodies including:
- International Society for the Study of Trauma & Dissociation
- World Professional Association for Transgender Health
- Australian & New Zealand Professional Association for Transgender Health
- Australian Society of Hypnosis.
Special interests
I have a particular experience working therapeutically with individuals who have experienced trauma and are managing the effects of that; people questioning or exploring gender identity and/or sexual orientation; and individuals in non-traditional relationships. I also work with people who experience anxiety or depression.
As a trainer and facilitator, I have particular experience working with community based, volunteer and not-for-profit organisations. I have developed and provided training in personal development; interpersonal and management skills development; working effectively with young people; conflict resolution and communication skills to name a few. I also consult with organisations regarding my areas of expertise (sexuality, gender identity, trauma).

My aim is to provide the highest quality service I can in order to best meet my client’s needs. I have a warm and respectful approach, and aim to establish a safe and welcoming environment in which to explore your needs.
